Claims (4)

1. Förfarande för behandling av avfall som innehäller lägaktiva orga-niska avfallssammansättningar frän kärnkraftverk med hjälp av anaero-5 bisk jäsning, vid vilket förfarande (a) man utför önskad förbehandllng av avfallen (11,28), vilken förbe-handling utgörs av finfördelning (12) och/eller hydrolys, kemisk spjälkning, UV-ljus, besträlning, värmebehandling, och uppslamning (13) 10. processens cirkulationsvatten och vid behov ocksä i ersättnings-vattnet, (b) det förbehandlade avfallet och eventuella behövliga närings-o.a.dyl. ämnen leds tili en bioreaktor (15) där den anaerobiska sönder- 15 fallningen sker i tvä steg, av vilka det första steget är ett syraskede (15a) och det andra skedet ett metanskede (15b), (c) gaserna som bildats i sönderfallsprocessen leds frän metansteget (15b) för gasförbränning (27), 20 (d) avfallet (17) som inte sönderfallit i anaerobprocessen avlägsnas frän processen för urvattning (20) och packas i tunnor (21) eller mot-svarande, och 25 (e) vattnet avskiljs frän avfallet som sönderfallit i sönderfallspro cessen, vilket vatten returneras tili steg (a) och den erhällna vat-tenfria fraktionen leds antingen för uppslamning (13), specialbehand-ling (30) eller urvattning (20), 30 kännetecknat därav, att man för ätminstone en del av det icke-sönderfallna avfallet utför en specialbehandling (30), som utgörs av hydrolys och/eller fysikalisk sönderfalining, efter vilket den sä-lunda behandlade fraktionen äterförs tili steg (a) och en eventuell annan andel av det icke-sönderfallna avfallet avlägsnas frän processen 35 för urvattning (20). 11 89581

4. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-3, känneteck-10 n a t därav, att temperaturen i sönderfallsprocessen upprätthälls inom omradet 5-65°C, fördelaktigt 20-35°C.
