The invention relates to a winding device comprising a body part and fork-like parts arranged at both ends for bundling ropes, electric wires, belts and the like into a detachable spool, wherein at least one of the fork-like parts is articulated to releasably engage the body part and provided with a locking member with respect to the body.

The object of the invention is to provide a simple and inexpensive hand-held winding device by means of which ropes, electric wires and the like can be quickly wound into a bobbin and then the bobbin can be removed from the winding device. In this case, one and the same winding device can be reused all the time and it does not remain just a winding and storage device for one piece of rope, for example.

This object is solved according to the invention in such a way that the winding device according to the invention is characterized in that the fork-like part articulated to the body part is arranged to be locked from the body part and an axially movably arranged tubular body thereon.

The fork-like parts of the winding device can thus be locked relative to each other during winding and then at least one other fork-shaped part can be released for removing the coil.

Figure 1 shows a winding device according to the invention in a perspective view with the winding device in its locking position, i.e. ready to wind.

Fig. 2 shows the winding device of Fig. 1 in the release position, i.e. in the position in which the wound coil can be removed.

The winding device according to the invention comprises a body part 1 and fork-like parts 2, 3 arranged at both ends thereof.

The winding device is shown in Fig. 1 in its locking position, i.e. in a position in which the winding of the material to be wound 4, e.g. a rope, an electric wire, a belt or the like, is performed. The winding takes place by supporting the winding device from the body part 1 with one hand and by wrapping the material to be wound 4 around the fork-like parts 2, 3 with the other hand.

In Fig. 2, the winding device is shown in its release position, i.e. in a position in which the coil of material to be wound 4 can be removed. In this position, the fork part 3 is rotated on its articulated shaft 5 with respect to the body part 1, whereby the mutual distance of the fork-like parts 2, 3 is reduced from the position shown in Fig. 1 to allow the coil to be removed.

The fork-like part connected to the body part 1 on the articulated shaft 5 denoted by the reference numeral 3 is arranged to be locked from its part on the side of the body part 1 inside the U-shaped end 7 of the body part. In the embodiment shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the body part 1 is formed of a rectangular tube having a notch on the surface of the left-hand end parallel to the hinge axis 5 to allow the fork-like part 3 to pivot.

A wedge surface 8 for arranging the locking member 6 is arranged in the part of the fork-like part 3 on the side part 1. The wedge surface 8 is preferably formed by the dome base of a screw threaded into the fork-like part 3. Alternatively or in addition, the wedge surface can also be formed in the locking member 6.

The winding device is brought from its release position shown in Fig. 2 to the locking position by first turning the fork-like part 3 against the rear wall 9 of the body part 1. Then the locking member 6 is pushed to the left (Fig. 2) when pushed, locks the fork-like part 3 in place against the rear wall 9 of the body part 1. Thanks to the wedge surface 8, locking or releasing the fork-like part 3 is facilitated by reducing the friction between the fork-like part 3 and the locking member 6.

4 88148 A winding device comprising a body part (1) and fork-like parts (2, 3) arranged at both ends thereof for bundling ropes, electric wires, belts and the like (4) into a spool detachable from the winding device, wherein at least one of the fork-like parts (3) is connected articulated to the body part (1) and provided with a locking member (6) for locking or releasing the fork-like part (3) relative to the body part (1), characterized in that the fork-like part (3) articulated to the body part (1) is arranged to be lockable from the body part (1) side inside the U-shaped end (7) of the body part, and that the locking member (6) is formed on and on the body part (1) from an axially movably arranged tubular body. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least one wedge surface (8) is arranged in the part of the fork-like part (3) on the side of the body part (1) for locking the locking element (6). Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the wedge surface (8) is formed by the dome base of the screw threaded into the fork-like part (3).
