Abstract

In a liquid container of a type comprising a base and side walls (for example 33), a lid has been disposed, which has ribs projecting towards the liquid surface for damping surface motions in the liquid and for achieving a high level of rigidity against the said liquid motions. For effective coupling of the container parts, as well as simple fitting of the lid, the sides perpendicular to the said ribs are provided with locking members 25, 26, 29 and 30, which are arranged not only to fix the lid against motions upwards relative to the side walls, but also to fix these against outward motions in the transverse direction to the planes of the side walls. <IMAGE>
