The present invention relates to a seat consisting of a seat part and a leg part, whereby several similar seats can be assembled one on top of the other in a smaller space.

The seats according to the invention can be arranged in a row several times in succession so that the seats overlap.

The chair body of Figures 1a-Id consists of a bent 15 tube. The frame has a leg portion 1 and a backrest portion 2. A seat portion 3 and a backrest 4 made of sheet material are attached to the frame.

The sides of the leg portion 1 are arranged obliquely so that the opening between the front legs 1a is wider than the distance between the outer sides of the leg legs Ib ta-20.

Behind the backrest 4 there is a horizontal shaft 6, around which the backrest can be pivoted so that it comes behind the shaft 6. Figures 3a to 3d show an embodiment with a fixed backrest 4. However, the seat part 3 can be turned to a vertical position (Figure 3d).

Similarly, Figures 4 and 5 show two embodiments where the backrest 4 is fixed. The sides of the foot part 1 consist of two plates arranged obliquely so that the opening between the plates in front of the foot part is wider than the distance between the outer surfaces of the rear part of the plates. The seat part 3 can be turned vertically.

Figure 6 shows only the body part 15 of another embodiment, without a seat plate. The invention is not limited to the above applications, but may vary in various ways within the scope of the claims. The idea of the invention can be applied not only to a 25-seater chair, but also to a bench for several people.
