Abstract

This invention refers to a device for connecting a field chopper to a tractor. A chopper (2) is jointed to an attachment part (1) in the rear of the tractor is jointed (6). The invention relates to an apparatus for attaching an implement such as a mower conditioner to a working machine such as a tractor, the apparatus comprising an attachment part at the rear of the tractor to which the mowing part is connected by a pivot joint, a cylinder connecting the attachment part and the mowing part , and a second cylinder associated with the fastening part, by means of which the towbar can be moved in a direction transverse to the direction of travel along the guides of the fastening part.

It is known to harvest forage fodder in such a way that the tractor's lifting device has a mower-conditioner attached, the mowing part being on the side of the tractor and a trailer being attached to the towing hook in the attachment part to which the mower is blown. In this case, in order to facilitate the orientation of the feed jet and to achieve a more even filling of the wagon, it is advantageous for the wagon to be on the side of the tractor during mowing. On the other hand, during transport, it is essential that the wagon is substantially behind the tractor.

In the known solution, two towing hooks are built into the mowing shredder device, one of which is used in the transfer run and the other in the mowing phase.

In another known solution (FI patent publication 71212), the towbar is arranged to move in connection with the transmission transmission.

The object of the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which the towbar moves sideways towards the mower when the mower is lowered to the working position and, accordingly, when the mower is raised, the tow moves away from the mower.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the transfer cylinder of the towbar is connected in parallel with the lifting cylinder of the mower to the hydraulic system, so that lifting the mower causes the towbar to move away from the mower.

This arrangement according to the invention is also advantageous in that the drawbar weight of the trailer on the towbar is shifted as a counterweight when the mowing device on the side is raised.

An embodiment of the invention is illustrated with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 shows a device according to the invention seen from behind and Figure 2 shows the same seen from above.

The embodiment shown relates to a mower conditioner attached to a tractor, but the invention can be applied more generally in connection with implements attached to a working machine.

At the rear of the tractor there is a fastening part 1 transverse to the direction of travel, to the outer end of which a mowing part 2 is fastened by a joint 6. The mowing part 2 and the fastening part 1 are connected to each other by a cylinder 3 so that the mowing part can be turned up and down. The towbar 5 is arranged to be moved along the guides of the fastening part 1 by a cylinder 4.

According to the invention, the transfer cylinder 4 of the towbar 5 is connected in parallel with the lifting cylinder 3 of the mowing device to the hydraulic system. In this case, raising the mowing device 2 causes the towbar 5 to move away from the mowing device 2 and, accordingly, when the mowing device is lowered to the working position, the towing hook 5 moves sideways towards the mowing device.

In the upturned position of the mower, the towbar 5 moves substantially to the center line of the tractor or possibly slightly above it.
