The invention relates to a machine for use in forestry or agriculture, in which cuttings cut from a frame are planted in the ground.

5 Planters for pre-cut plugs are already known, e.g. those in which holes are made in the substrate with tractor-fitted equipment and in which the cuttings are inserted, for example, by means of a supply pipe by hand.

10 The main disadvantages of the known devices are that the trunks have to be cut separately before planting and that the actual planting is done by hand.

A planting machine according to the claims has now been invented with a feed pipe, a substantially vertical guide pipe for introducing the frame into the feed pipe. and a rotating blade attached to the axis parallel to the guide tube between the guide tube and the feed tube to cut the cuttings from the frame.

A rotating sector-shaped stop 20 can be mounted on the same shaft below the blade to prevent the frame from falling down until the blade has cut the frame into the plug, after which the lower stop rotates at the second guide tube, allowing the plug to fall into the feed tube. Alternatively, there may be feed rollers on the sides of the guide tube, above the cut-25, which push the frame into the rotating cutter at the desired speed.

If desired, multiple control-pipe-feed pipe combinations can be installed on the machine and can be installed to operate on the same cutter.

In Figures I ..IV there is a guide tube 1, into which 5 a cut-off frame 6 is fed. The mounts are mounted on the shaft so that when the upper mating is. twisted away from the guide tube, prevents the frame of the sector-shaped lower stop 1 from falling in the guide tube, and when the blade has cut off the frame from the plug 7, the lower stop rotates away from the guide tube, allowing the plug to fall into the feed tube.
