The replacement part has three layers! the uppermost layer is a highly liquid-permeable material, while the lower layer is a liquid-impermeable material, a liquid-absorbent material is placed in the grooves of these low-strength materials. With the help of a sleeping pad as described above, brooding diapers or the like can be eliminated. In addition, the sleeping pad is easy to keep clean by regularly replacing the removable replacement part. However, such a sleeping pad 10 cannot be used in the case of heavy pots. The sleeping pad according to the invention provided with a collecting container or a similar storage part is particularly well suited for heavy patients. This ensures that the human weight does not squeeze moisture back to the surface of the bedding, and that there are no odors or the like.

In the following, the invention will be explained in detail with the aid of the accompanying drawings.

Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of a preferred embodiment of the invention. Figure 2 shows a longitudinal section B-B of the bed base of Figure 1.

According to Figure 1, a sleeping pad according to the invention comprises, 68000, e.g. a foam body part 1. A section 2 is formed therein. A part 3 is fixedly connected to the section 2.

The more detailed structure of the sleeping pad can be seen in Figures 2 and 3. Part 5 3 is provided with several parallel grooves or relatively close projections. A replacement part 5 is placed on top of the part 3 so that it extends into the grooves 4.

The exchange part 5 comprises a liquid-impermeable layer 6, 10, the shape of which corresponds to the shape of the grooves 4. The top layer 8 of the replacement part is formed of a highly liquid-permeable material, such as a nonwoven fabric. If the additional layer 7 is a liquid-absorbent material, the sleeping pad can advantageously also be used for light patients. In this case, the urine is absorbed into the additional layer 7 and the storage part 20 13 only serves as a securing part of the bed base. In this case, simpler replacement parts 5 than those shown above in connection with the drawings can be used as the replacement part 5 to be embedded in the grooves 4.

25 It should be noted that the grooves of the bed base may have other shapes than those explained above. However, it is preferred that the grooves be close to each other and that the respective protrusions be relatively rigid so that the grooves do not close under the influence of the patient's weight. The projections 30 corresponding to the grooves can extend flush with the upper surface of the body part 1 of the sleeping base, in which case an additional layer 7 is not necessarily required in the replacement part 5. The moisture-impermeable layer 6 can be either an integral part of the replacement part 5 or detachable therefrom.
