Claims (11)

1. Förfarande för utfällning av Al(OH>3 i nätstrukturen av ett svagt basiskt anjonbytarharts genom utfällning av Al-halogenid med ammoniak in situ i ett vattenhaltigt medium, varvid bildas en blandning av anjonbytarharts med Al(OH)3 dispergerad däri, kännetecknat därav, att man 1. surgör blandningen i ett vattenhaltigt medium genom att använda en tillräcklig mängd av HX, väri X är klor, brom, 10 jod eller fluor, för erhällande av ett pH-värde som inte understiger ca 5,0, varvid anjonbrytarhartset omvandlas tili halogenidsaltform; 2. separerar blandningen frän den vattenhaltiga delen; 3. sköljer blandningen med en vattenlösning av Al-halo-1 5 genid, och avlägsnar lösning i överskott; 4. sätter NH^OH tili ,resten för utfällande av en ytterli-gare mängd av AI(OH)3 i hartset och 5. ifall önskvärt, omvandlar Al(OH)3 tili kristallin LiOH.2Al(OH)3 och/eller LiCl.2A1(OH)3. 20
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck nat därav, att HX är klorvätesyra och aluminiumhalogeniden är aluminiumklorid.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att ammoniumhalogenid tillsätts före eller 25 under surgörningssteget.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknat därav, att ammoniumhalogeniden är ammoniumklorid.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 4, kännetecknat därav, att mängden ammoniumhalogenid är 5-25% av den 30 vattenhaltiga delen.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att stegen (1)-(4) upprepas en eller flera ganger.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-35 n a t därav, att surgörningen i steget (1) utförs vid en temperatur av 20-100°C.
