This invention relates to a container, and more particularly to a container, and more particularly to a container and a lid structure therefor. The container of the invention can be divided into compartments so that the storage spaces are of different sizes.

Containers such as the one in question are often used for the storage of foodstuffs and the like for the purpose of preserving foodstuffs which are to be kept separate from one another. Accordingly, the present invention discloses a structure in which a container is provided with a central divider portion. Such an invention makes this type of container more flexible and useful. Thus, the dish can also be used as a snack box.

It is also desirable that the compartments of different sizes of the container in question be insulated from each other by an effective partition barrier in order to minimize any leakage between the compartments.

And likewise to minimize the transfer of potential odor from the material stored in one compartment to the material stored in another compartment. Therefore, the structure in question is provided with a divider, which tightly contacts the side walls, the bottom and the sides of the container and also the lid part covering both compartments. Accordingly, there is effective insulation between the two compartments of the container in question.

Therefore, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a container in which mainly food and the like are stored and said container can be divided into compartments of different sizes And the spacing of these compartments is provided with an effective insulator which is relatively uncomplicated and simple and allows relatively low cost made of plastic, for example, with a spray-ready darkener.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a container for foodstuffs and the like which can be divided into separate compartments by a partition wall mounted firmly. There is a flange at each end of the partition part which stabilizes it in all kinds of use of the container, even when the lid part is removed from the container.

A tightly closable container which can be divided into compartments, has side walls connected by a bottom wall, which is adapted to provide a tight closure by means of a lid and has a vertical impermeable partition, is characterized by the features mentioned in the characterizing part of claim 1.

Referring to the drawings, and in particular to Figures 1 and 2, the storage box 10 according to the present invention comprises a container or base part 11, a partition part 12 and a lid part 13. becomes more obvious. The vessel (or base) 11 has a substantially rectangular bottom portion 15 having a surrounding flange 16. The vessel 11 still has side members 17 that are opposed to each other and relatively long compared to the end wall webs 18 therebetween which act as their connectors. Both the side walls 17 and the end walls 18 preferably extend upwards and slightly outwards to make it easy to fasten the movable part 12 and the base 13, as will become clearer below. The side walls 17 and the end walls 18 terminate at their upper part in a surrounding edge 19 which is tightly together with a downwardly opening U-shaped surrounding edge 19a of the container lid 13. A tight fit is such that substances, and especially food, can be stored in it almost airtight. The lid liner 14a is similarly adapted to be placed on and operates on the container 14.

It should be noted that the side ridges 17 are slightly curved outwards in the middle, as can be seen in particular from the plan view of Figure 4. Therefore, the width between the central longitudinal points of the side walls 17 is slightly larger than the end walls 18 of the container 11.

The spacer usually comprises at its lower edge a central part or plate 20 which is closed and terminates upwards directly directly into the top wall part or top 21. This upper edge 21 of the plate 20 is adapted to be tightly closed with the cover 13 when the spacer 12 is inserted between the side walls 17. 2. Suitable materials for the septum portion 12 would be very dense polyethylene, polypropylene or similar copolymeric materials. The container 11 is preferably formed of the same material, but may also be of medium-tight or less-tight polyethylene, which is slightly more flexible than the part of the partition. This more flexible polyethylene also has the property of having a locally torsional adaptability.

Figure 4 shows in detail how the smaller container 14 can be placed in the original container 11 next to the partition part 12.
