Abstract

The invention relates to a movable loading apparatus (1) for dumping material into a container (2) comprising a wall (21). The apparatus (1) comprises a support arrangement (10) arranged to releasable support the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2), a guiding arrangement (12) comprising a transport track (130) to the container (2); and a conveying arrangement (11) for dumping material into a container (2). The invention further relates to a method for loading a container (2) and a material transferring system (4).

Description

A MOVABLE LOADING APPARATUS, A MATERIAL TRANSFERRING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR LOADING A CONTAINER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a movable loading apparatus and more particularly to a movable loading apparatus according to preamble of claim 1. The present invention further relates to a material transferring system and more particularly to a material transferring system according to preamble of claim 9. The present invention further relates to a method for loading a container and more particularly to a method for loading a container according to preamble of claim 12.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In many cases material is needed to dump over of a wall of a container. For example, in construction sites waste material is collected to waste bins which comprise wheels. The waste bins are moved beside a container which is intended to transport the waste material away from the construction site. Typically, the containers have walls which provide a space which receive and store the waste material. In the prior art material is dumped over a wall of a container by manual labour. Typically, workers throw material piece by piece with their hands over the wall. This is slow and may be even dangerous.

N The preferred embodiments of the invention are disclosed in the dependent claims. The invention is based on the idea of providing a movable loading apparatus for dumping material into a container comprising a wall.
The apparatus comprises a support arrangement arranged to releasable support the movable loading apparatus on the wall of the container, a guiding arrangement comprising a transport track to the container, and a conveying arrangement for dumping material into a container, the conveying arrangement is connected to the guiding arrangement and arranged to be transferred upwards and downwards along the transport track.
Accordingly, the supporting structure of the movable loading apparatus is light because the movable loading apparatus is arranged to be supported on the wall of the container.
Thus, it easy to move the movable loading apparatus.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the transport track comprises a first track and a second track arranged at distance from each other.
This provides an efficient support for the conveying arrangement.
In an alternative embodiment, the transport track comprises a first track and a second track arranged at distance from each other and arranged to extend parallel to each other.

The method comprises following steps: - supporting the support arrangement of the movable loading apparatus on the wall of the container; - lifting material with the conveying arrangement ; and - dumping material lifted with the conveying arrangement into the container. This enables sorting of different materials with the roll-off container. In one embodiment of the invention, the material transferring system further comprises a waste bin, and the method comprises a step securing the waste bin to the conveying arrangement. This enable using a commonly used waste bins first for collecting the waste and then dumping the waste with the waste bin into the container. In an alternative embodiment, the material transferring system further comprises a waste bin comprising a lid, the conveying arrangement further 3 comprises a lid support arranged to keep the lid in an open position, and the & method comprises steps connecting the waste bin to the conveying arrangement ? and keeping the lid in an open position with the lid support. S This enables using a commonly used waste bins first for collecting the E 30 waste and then dumping the waste with the waste bin into the container such that + the lid will not be compromised during dumping the waste. O In another alternative embodiment, the material transferring system 10 further comprises a waste bin comprising a lid, the conveying arrangement S comprises a securing element and the method comprises a step securing the waste bin to the conveying arrangement with the securing element and keeping the lid in an open position with the securing element.
This enables securing the waste bin to the conveying arrangement and at the same time the lid will not be compromised during dumping the waste. In a yet another alternative embodiment, the support arrangement further comprises an upper support comprising a second upper support portion, the second upper support portion further comprises one or more upper support wheels, the step supporting the support arrangement of the movable loading apparatus on the wall of the container comprises supporting the support arrangement of the movable loading apparatus with the one or more upper support wheels to the upper side of the wall for forming a supported movable loading apparatus; and the method further comprises a step moving the supported movable loading apparatus along the upper side of the wall. This eases moving the movable loading apparatus supported movable loading apparatus along the upper side of the wall. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Figures 1a, 1b and 1c show a movable loading apparatus 1 according to the invention. Figures 1a, 1b and 1c show the same a movable loading apparatus 1 but in different positions.
The movable loading apparatus 1 comprises a support arrangement 10 arranged to releasable support the movable loading apparatus 1 on the wall 21 of the container 2, a guiding arrangement 12 comprising a transport track 130 to the container 2, and a conveying arrangement 11 for dumping material into a container 2. The conveying arrangement 11 is connected to the guiding N 25 arrangement 12 and arranged to be transferred upwards and downwards along N the transport track 130. 3 The support arrangement 10 is arranged to carry loads which occur in N the movable loading apparatus 1 during the movable loading apparatus 1 dumps I material into a container 2 and during the conveying arrangement 11 is transferred - 30 upwards and downwards along the transport track 130. This means that the > support arrangement 10 being rigid. © The support arrangement 10 comprises an upper support 101 and a S lower support 102.
The upper support 101 is arranged to be releasable supported on the wall 21 of the container 2.
In one embodiment, the upper support 101 and the lower support 102 are arranged to be releasable supported on the wall of the container 2. For instance, the upper support 101 and the lower support 102 are arranged to be leaned against the wall 21 of the container 2.
In one embodiment, the upper support 101 and the lower support 102 are arranged to be releasable supported to the wall of the container 2.

The movable loading apparatus 1 is positioned beside the first compartment 22 and is arranged to dump material into the first compartment 22 of the container 2.
In one embodiment the material transferring system 4 further comprises a waste bin 3 secured to the movable loading apparatus 1.
Figure 4b shows one embodiment of a material transferring system according to the invention. This embodiment is similar to the embodiment of the figure 4a. In one embodiment, the method further comprises moving the movable loading apparatus 1 for dumping material into a different location of the container

1. A movable loading apparatus (1) for dumping material into a container (2) comprising a wall (21), characterized in thatthe apparatus (1) comprises: - a support arrangement (10) arranged to releasable support the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2); - a guiding arrangement (12) comprising a transport track (130) to the container (2); and - a conveying arrangement (11) for dumping material into a container (2), the conveying arrangement (11) is connected to the guiding arrangement (12) and arranged to be transferred upwards and downwards along the transport track (130).

A movable loading apparatus (1) according to claim 1, characterized inthat: - the transport track (130) comprises a first track (121) and a second track (122) arranged at distance (A) from each other; or - the transport track (130) comprises a first track (121) and a second track (122) arranged at distance (A) from each other and arranged to extend parallel to each other; or - the transport track (130) comprises a first track (121) and a second track (122) arranged at distance (A) from each other and arranged to extend parallel to each other, and the first track (121) and the second track (122) are connected together; or — 25 - the transport track (130) comprises a first track (121).

A movable loading apparatus (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3,characterized in that: - the conveying arrangement (11) is arranged to receive a waste bin; or - the conveying arrangement (11) is arranged to receive a waste bin and the conveying arrangement (11) comprises a securing element (111) arranged to secure a waste bin to the conveying arrangement (11); or - the movable loading apparatus (1) comprises a waste bin (3) fixed to the conveying arrangement (11); or - the movable loading apparatus (1) comprises a vessel fixed to the conveying arrangement (11); or - the conveying arrangement (11) comprises a securing element (111) arranged to secure a waste bin to the conveying arrangement (11), and the conveying arrangement (11) further comprises a lid support (15) arranged to keep a lid of the waste bin in an open position; or - the conveying arrangement (11) comprises a securing element (111) arranged to secure a waste bin to the conveying arrangement (11) and arranged to keep a lid of the waste bin in an open position.

A movable loading apparatus (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 6,characterized in that: - the conveying arrangement (11) comprises one or more first guiding wheels (128) arranged to roll along the first track (121); or - the conveying arrangement (11) comprises one or more first guiding wheels (128) arranged to roll along the first track (121) and one or more second guiding wheels (129) arranged to roll along the second track (122); or - the conveying arrangement (11) comprises two first guiding wheels (128) arranged to roll along the first track (121) and two second guiding wheels (129) arranged toroll along the second track (122); or - the conveying arrangement (11) comprises one or more first guiding 3 wheels (128) and one or more second guiding wheels (129) arranged to roll along & the first track (121). < S

A movable loading apparatus (1) according to any one of claims 1 to E 30 7,characterized inthat: + - the first motor (13) is arranged in connection with the conveying O arrangement (11); or = - the first motor (13) is arranged in connection with the guiding S arrangement (12), and the movable loading apparatus (1) further comprises a mechanical power transfer chain (131) arranged to transfer power from the first motor (13) to the conveying arrangement (11).
9. A material transferring system (4), characterized in that: - the system (4) comprises a container (2) comprising a wall (21), and the system (4) further comprises a movable loading apparatus (1) for dumping material into the container (2); and - the movable loading apparatus (1) comprises: - a support arrangement (10) arranged to releasable support the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2); - a guiding arrangement (12) comprising a transport track (130) to the container (2), and - a conveying arrangement (11) for dumping material into a container (2), the conveying arrangement (11) is connected to the guiding arrangement (12) and arranged to be transferred upwards and downwards along the transport track (130).
10. A material transferring system (4) according to claim 9, characterized inthatin that: - the container (2) being a truck bed; or - the container (2) being a truck bed comprising two or more compartment; or - the container (2) being a roll-off container; or - the container (2) being a roll-off container comprising a first compartment (22) and a second compartment (23).
11. A material transferring system (4) according to claim 9 or 10, 3 ch a racterized in that the movable loading apparatus (1) being a movable & loading apparatus (1) according to any of claim 1- 8. < S
12.A method for loading a container (2), characterized inthat: E 30 - the method being carried out with a material transferring system (4) + comprising: O -acontainer (2) comprising a wall (21), and 10 - a movable loading apparatus (1) comprising a support S arrangement (10) arranged to releasable support the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2), a guiding arrangement (12) comprising a transport track (130) to the container (2), and a conveying arrangement (11) for dumping material into a container (2), the conveying arrangement (11) is connected to the guiding arrangement (12) and arranged to be transferred upwards and downwards along the transport track (130); and - the method comprises following steps: - supporting the support arrangement (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2); - lifting material with the conveying arrangement (11); and - dumping material lifted with the conveying arrangement (11) into the container (2).
13. A method for loading a container (2) according to the claim 12, characterized inthat: - the method further comprises a step moving the movable loading apparatus (1) for dumping material into a different location of the container (2); or - the container (2) further comprises a first compartment (22) and a second compartment (23) and material being a first material and a second material, and the method further comprises following steps: - dumping the first material lifted with the conveying arrangement (11) into the first compartment (22) of the container (2), -moving movable loading apparatus (1) from beside the first compartment (22) to beside the second compartment (23), -supporting the support arrangement (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2) between the second compartment (23) and the movable loading apparatus (1), and - dumping the second material lifted with the conveying 3 arrangement (11) into the second compartment (23) of the container (2); or | & - the container (2) being a roll-off container (2) comprising a first ? compartment (22) and a second compartment (23) and material being a first waste S material and a second waste material, the method further comprises following = 30 steps: - dumping the first waste material lifted with the conveying O arrangement (11) into the first compartment (22) of the container (2), 10 - moving the movable loading apparatus (1) from beside the S first compartment (22) to beside the second compartment (23), - supporting the support arrangement (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2) between the second compartment (23) and the movable loading apparatus, and - dumping the second material lifted with the conveying arrangement (11) into the second compartment (23) of the container (2); or - the container (2) further comprises a first compartment (22) and a second compartment (23) and material being a first material and a second material, and the method further comprises following steps:
- dumping the first material lifted with the conveying arrangement (11) into the first compartment (22) of the container (2),
-moving movable loading apparatus (1) from beside the first compartment (22) to beside the second compartment (23),
-supporting the support arrangement (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2) between the second compartment (23) and the movable loading apparatus (1), and
- dumping the second material lifted with the conveying arrangement (11) into the second compartment (23) of the container (2); or - the container (2) being a roll-off container (2) comprising a first compartment (22) and a second compartment (23) and material being a first waste material and a second waste material, the method further comprises following Steps: - dumping the first waste material lifted with the conveying arrangement (11) into the first compartment (22) of the container (2),
- moving the movable loading apparatus (1) from beside the first compartment (22) to beside the second compartment (23),
- supporting the support arrangement (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) on the wall (21) of the container (2) between the second 3 compartment (23) and the movable loading apparatus, and | | & - dumping the second material lifted with the conveying ? arrangement (11) into the second compartment (23) of the container (2); or S - the support arrangement (10) further comprises an upper support = 30 (101) comprising a second upper support portion (103), the second upper support portion (103) further comprises one or more upper support wheels (144), the step O supporting the support arrangement (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) on = the wall (21) of the container (2) comprises supporting the support arrangement S (10) of the movable loading apparatus (1) with the one or more upper support wheels (144) to the upper side (211) of the wall (21) for forming a wheel supported movable loading apparatus (1); and the method further comprises a step moving the wheel supported movable loading apparatus (1) along the upper side (211) of the wall (21).

A method for loading a container (2) according to the claim 12 or 13,characterized inthat: - the material transferring system (4) further comprises a waste bin (3), and the method comprises a step securing the waste bin (3) to the conveying arrangement (11); or - the material transferring system (4) further comprises a waste bin (3) comprising a lid (31), the conveying arrangement (11) further comprises a lid support (15) arranged to keep the lid (31) in an open position, and the method comprises steps connecting the waste bin (3) to the conveying arrangement (11) and keeping the lid (31) in an open position with the lid support (15); or - the material transferring system (4) further comprises a waste bin (3) comprising a lid (31), the conveying arrangement (11) comprises a securing element (111) and the method comprises a step securing the waste bin (3) to the conveying arrangement (11) with the securing element (111) and keeping the lid (31) in an open position with the securing element (111).
15. A method for loading a container (2) according to any one of claims 12 to 14, characterized in that the method being carried out with a material transferring system (4) according to any of claim 9- 11.
