Abstract
There is provided an arrangement for generating vibration according to an electrical input signal, the arrangement comprising: a surface arranged to be mechanically displaced to generate the vibration; a first magnet coupled with the surface; a base; a second magnet mounted on the base, wherein the second magnet is arranged to face the first magnet and to generate with the first magnet a magnetic force affecting the surface, wherein at least one of the first magnet and the second magnet has an annular shape with a hole inside; at least one supporting member coupled to the base and the surface for supporting the surface, wherein the at least one supporting member and/or the surface forms at least one elastic element causes a counterforce to the magnetic force, the magnetic force together with the counterforce causing the surface to be in a force equilibrium state, a coil coupled with at least one of the first magnet and the second magnet; and a signal port electrically coupled with the coil, wherein an electrical signal is configured to travel between the signal port and the coil, wherein the electrical signal in the coil is proportional to mechanic displacement of the surface when the force equilibrium state is broken either by the electrical signal in the coil or the mechanic displacement of the surface from a position of the force equilibrium state.
