Abstract

Mineraalivillamaton (2) ja sen ainakin yhdelle pääpinnalle lisätyn kierrätysmateriaalia (3, 3’) olevan lisäeristyskerroksen muodostama mineraalivillaeriste (1) viedään lopuksi karkaisukäsittelyyn (8).The present invention relates to a method for producing two or more layers of mineral wool insulation (1). In the method, the mineral wool production line continuously produces a mineral wool mat (2) having a bottom and an upper side defining the main surfaces of the mineral wool and wherein the fibers of the mineral wool mat are located substantially in planes parallel to said main surfaces. The method comprises providing to at least one of said main surfaces an additional insulating layer (3, 3 ') containing recycled material, comprising recycled and / or crushed and / or ground mineral wool and admixed with recycled material in powdered form before applying to said at least one crimp. The layer (3, 3 ') of recycled material is compressed into a matt layer before being applied to said at least one major surface of mineral wool mat. Finally, the mineral wool insulation (1) formed by the mineral wool mat (2) and an additional insulating layer (3) of recycled material (3, 3) added to its at least one major surface is finally subjected to a quench treatment (8).
