Abstract
FIELD: ventilation.SUBSTANCE: rack containing a plurality of servers and a plurality of fans, divided into several groups, each server calculates the fan speed required to dissipate heat from the internal temperatures and provides the calculated fan speed fans belonging to the same group, respectively. Fans, belonging to the same group operate in accordance with the extracted fan speed. The rack maintenance controller (RMC) in the rack receives the fan speed issued by the server from one of several groups, and calculates a compensation value fan speed according to the acquired fan rotation speed.
