Abstract

The invention is directed to improving the reduction of carbon footprint of fuel produced in a BtL plant (41). The essential feature of the invention is that the apparatus intended for purification of syngas generated at a BtL plant is employed in the separation of carbon dioxide and recovery thereof for further processing and/or final storage.
