Abstract
Invention relates to a valve arrangement (30) for controlling gas flow in a turbocharged internal combustion piston engine (12) comprising at least two parallel valve units (30.1...30.N), characterized in that a first group of the parallel valve units (30.1 ) is provided with a continuously variable flow controlling system (40') and a second group of the parallel valve units (30.2...30.N)) are provided with digital flow controlling system (40'). Invention relates also to a waste gate for a turbocharger unit (14) and method of controlling gas flow by-passing a turbine section of the turbocharger unit (14).
