Abstract
Menetelmä parannetuksi prosessiksi runsashiilisen ferrokromin (HCFeCr) ja panoskromin valmistamiseksi käsittäen vaiheet, joissa: kuivattua kromirikastetta ja kromiittihienoainetta sekoitetaan kaikkina mahdollisina osuuksina raakamalmisyötteen muodostamiseksi; raakamalmisyöte alistetaan vaiheeseen, jossa mainittuun seokseen sekoitetaan sammutettua kalkkia, melassia ja bentoniittia sideaineiksi briketoitavan seoksen aikaansaamiseksi; muodostetaan brikettejä mainitusta seoksesta kokooonpuristamalla.A method for an improved process for the production of high-carbon ferrochrome (HCFeCr) and charge chromium, comprising the steps of: mixing dried chromium concentrate and chromite fines in all possible proportions to form a raw ore feed; the raw ore feed is subjected to a step where slaked lime, molasses and bentonite are mixed into said mixture as binders to produce a briquetting mixture; briquettes are formed from the mentioned mixture by compression.
