Abstract

Keksinnön mukaisessa jääkiekkokaukalon laitarakenteessa on laita ja suojareunus sekä kentän puoli ja katsomon puoli, joka laita koostuu toisiinsa liitetyistä laitaelementeistä. Laitaelementit kukin käsittävät rungon, jossa on pystysuoria tukitolppia (109) ja tukiputkia (105, 103, 107). Tukitolppia on vain laidan etuosassa eli kentän puoleisessa osassa, jolloin laitarakenne on yksitasoinen. Laitaelementin yläosassa on U-kanava (201). Suojareunus koostuu läpinäkyvistä suojapaneeleista (101), jotka on kiinnitetty U-kanavaan, jolloin niiden alaosa on laitaelementin sisässä.
