Abstract

The invention relates to an intelligent current distribution node for use in a vehicular current distribution system, which includes a source of direct current with plus and minus poles (8). The current distribution node (1) including a plurality of electrically controlled switches (7) for supplying the current thereby to an output terminal (2). The output terminal (2) includes at least one pair of output poles (Pin 7, Pin 8), each of said output poles being connectable by means of the controlled switches (7) optionally to the plus or minus pole (8) of a current source, yet in such a way that, when one output pole (Pin 7 or Pin 8) is in connection with the plus pole, the other output pole (Pin 8, Pin 7) is connected with the minus pole. Control of the switches (7) can be used for reversing the rotating direction of a motor coupled with the same pair of output poles.
