Abstract

The shield for the bottom of a ski (1) is formed of a flexible profile (2) which has grip edges (3) coming to the edges of the ski (1), and a shielding plate (4) which connects the grip edges. The form of the grip edges is formed into an S form in such a way that the shielding plate (4) is placed to the ski in thus that an air gap remains between the ski bottom (5) and the shielding plate (4). The arches (6) of the upper edges of the S form are settled to recesses located above projecting edges of the ski bottom (5).
