Abstract

Ytmonterbart permanentmagnetelement (1) att monteras som ett polelement på periferin av rotorn (2) i en permanentmagnetmaskin. A recess (10) belongs to the side surface. In addition, the protective cover includes a jacket (11), which is formed of sheet metal material, and to which jacket belongs an upper wall (12), which covers the permanent magnet (3), and an edge (13), which extends from the upper wall over the side surface (9 ) of the bottom plate, and to which edge belongs a connecting means (14), which are adapted to cooperate with the recess (10) for attaching the casing (11) and the bottom plate (5) to each other. The recess (10) consists of a notch which extends substantially along the entire length of the side surface (9) of the bottom plate (5). The connecting means (14) consists of the bending (15) of the edge (13) into the notch (10) along a substantial part of the entire length of the edge.
