The present invention relates to a card system, and in particular to a card system which enables bank, credit, travel or library cards and similar standard size cards to be kept in good order and, if necessary, presented or displayed.

The traditional way to store and use plastic cards is to keep them in your wallet in a convenient compartment where you can dig them out when needed. There are a few drawbacks to your wallet; namely, the wallet is made of soft material and, especially in the back pocket of men, it has a slightly curved shape and also folds to a certain extent, causing the cards to break and need to be replaced. Fig. 1 thus shows a single card holder 1 according to the invention, both from above and also from the side. The basic structure has a plate-like portion 2 having a substantially 15 tabs on each side, the purpose of which is to insert the card into the holder 1 underneath the tabs to remain in place. As is known per se, there is a notch 4 at the front edge of the holder, which allows the edge of the card in the holder to be grasped and removed from the holder by a simple pull.

Fig. 3 now shows the arrangement of Fig. 2 in the state in which the holders are attached to the body 8. The side view now also shows the function of the spring 7. Namely, the spring 7, as is clearly shown in the side view, tends to raise the holders so that their free ends differ from each other, thereby enabling a comfortable and effortless browsing of the holders and thus the cards. Since the invention is used in particular as shown in FIG. 4, i.e., housed in a separate closure housing 10, the holders 10 will press against each other against the force of the springs 7 when closed, but the free ends of the holders will be suitably spaced apart for free use.

As can be clearly seen in Figure 4, the frames 8 are located on both sides of the housing, allowing, for example, the safe insertion of 6 to 10 cards into the housing.
