Claims (15)
1. Förfarande för framställning av GDP-L-fukos av GDP-D-mannos, kännetecknat avatt man framställer GDP-L-fukos frän inneboende
5 GDP-D-mannos genom att odla celler av jäst eller mögel, vilka har transforme-rats med en DNA-sekvens som kodar för GDP-mannos-4,6-dehydratas (GMD) och en DNA-sekvens som kodar för GDP~4-keto-6-deoxi-D-mannos-3,5-epimeras/4-reduktas (GFS) för att funktionellt uttrycka nämnda enzym, och tar tillvara GDP-L-fukosen som bildas av GDP-D-mannosen som förekommer na-10 turligt i nämnda celler.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att det GMD och GFS som uttrycks är enzym av Escherichia coli eller Helicobacter pylori.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att man 15 transformerar jästceller med en vektor som innehäller nämnda DNA-sekvenser inkorporerade i en enda vektor.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 3, kännetecknat av att man transformerar cellerna med en vektor som kodar en chimärisk molekyl av GMD ;:· och GFS. : ’ ·!* 20 5.
