The present invention relates to an accessory to a box containing a spread, in particular to keep the handle of the spreading device used for the spread out of the spread.

In the following, the advantages of the invention will be discussed with reference to an accessory for a table grease box, since the entire scope of the invention can be clearly described by way of example.

In such a box, the spreader fills the entire box (packaging,, technical reasons = space requirement as small as possible), limited to the foil affixed to the collar portion of the box or to the protective paper just below the collar surface. The problem with these boxes for direct dining use is that the grease is easily spread from the applicator knife to the collar of the container, from there to the knife handle, and through it to the user's fingers. The greasy collar surface then also stains the box lid uncomfortable to handle. In addition, the present-day table-top boxes are always advertising in appearance, which is not necessarily accepted in the everyday dining table. A disadvantage when considering the use of these cartons is that even though the cartons are intended as such for the dining table, it is not possible to store the grease dispenser 25 with the carton assembly (carton + lid). In addition, the use of an empty cutlery box as a storage box will certainly be limited by the relatively small volume of the box, which tends to reduce the usefulness of that box - as is the case today with recycling.

It is now an insight of the invention to provide such a table grease box with an interchangeable (if necessary) accessory according to the invention, provided with a support surface (the upper edge of the raising part) for the spreading means, so that the spreading arm is not smeared. When the accessory further comprises a boxing skirt or a protective box covering the raised portion, the aesthetic disadvantage is also eliminated. When a cavity for the application means is further provided in the raised part 2 106444 or in the cover fitted thereto, it is also possible to store the application means in connection with the box assembly. At the same time, the grease knife storage / dishwasher problem is eliminated. The elevation member can be easily removed, for example for washing, and provided with a box (the collar surface of which has remained clean 5) therefore having its own or a lid suitable for the collar portion of both the box and the elevator.

On the other hand, when an empty table grease box, despite its small size, is also used as a storage box, especially a freezer box, the invention can also be utilized for the purpose of increasing the volume of the box. The accessory is the most suitable product manufactured from injection-molded food plastics by injection molding or vacuum molding technology, which must also be machine washable. At its most singular, the UN-15 accessory only comprises a box extension extending to be attached to the collar of the box. The lining of the grease box is prevented by a skirt portion which is integral with the raised portion, whereby the additional rim is uniform, e.g., a product formed by vacuum molding. The attachment of the raised part to the box is preferably arranged in the same manner as the fastening of the box lid 20 to the collar portion of the box at its lower edge. Again, the upper edge of the booster member can be adapted to receive either the box itself or a lid made specifically for the booster member, or both. The cavity of the spreading means may be arranged e.g. with that portion in a separate lid or recess (or recess subject) at the top of the riser. The raising part 1 of Figure 4 differs substantially in its locking mode from those described above. Figure 6 shows an accessory attached to a table grease box 2. Figure 11 is a sectional view of a substantially different embodiment of the above embodiments of the invention. Generally, the invention is not limited to what has been described and described above, but the accessory may have other shapes, e.g., a raised portion 1 upwardly extending, etc., a material other than food-grade plastic, anchoring to a box 2, or any combination thereof.
