Abstract

The object of the invention is a procedure for discharging a collection wagon which is designed advantageously to be towed behind a towing mechanism, such as a vehicle, a working machine or similar. The collection wagon has a bottom 1, side walls 2 and gable walls 3, preferably also a roof 4 incorporating containers for the material to be transported. There is also a coupling device 5 located effectively at the collection wagon's first end I, the coupling device being for example a towing arm or similar for connecting the towing mechanism thereto in a suitable power-transfer manner, and a movement device 6 situated at least at the other end II such as wheels, caterpillar tracks or similar to enable the collecton wagon to move. The collection wagon's containers are emptied through a discharge opening A, which opening is achieved at least partially by moving the bottom 1 of the container using power device VE. The container is discharged, on the one hand, when seen in cross section, by inclining its bottom 1 to the side w, and, on the other hand, by opening its side wall 2' whereby, in this connection, the arching of the material in the container is broken up by an intermediate bottom structure 7 which is preferably in connection with the movable side wall 2', which is pulled from beneath the material.
