DESHUMIDIFICAR EL AIRE DE LA FASE ANTERIOR; HACIENDOLO CIRCULAR POR EL LECHO DE PARTICULAS, SEGUN LAS FASES 1 Y 2, HASTA SACAR DEL LECHO UNA CANTIDAD DE AGUA ADSORBIDA TAL QUE A LA TEMPERATURA DE ALMACENAMIENTO PERMANENTE, LAS PARTICULAS NO ESTEN SATURADAS RESPECTO AL AGUA ADSORBIDA. APLICABLE A PASTAS QUE CONTIENEN PARTICULAS DE RESINA RADIOACTIVAS DE INTERCAMBIO IONICO TIPO PERLAS, TIPO POLVO O COMBINACIONES DE LAS MISMAS.
