Abstract

The jetty comprises vertically extending shallow modular structural blocks having parallel upper and lower planar faces. The blocks are in vertically layered, horizontally offset and cantilevered juxtaposition to define a three-dimensional network characterised by vertical gaps between portions of some of the elements. At least some of the blocks define at least one aperture extending vertically through the thickness. The system further comprises couplings extending through vertically aligned apertures for joining the blocks together. -
