Abstract

Process and mechanisms which can be fitted to packaging machines for obtaining heat-weldable packages with mutually separate superposed hermetic chambers. It comprises an intermediate film 3 which can be welded to another two films, an upper film 9 and another, lower film 1, to form a package or packet containing different packaged products, it being possible to obtain, in a single function, two mutually sealed cells or enclosures for packaging heterogeneous and homogeneous products, the reel holder 4 for the film 3 and the guide rollers 5 and 6 comprising a cutting mechanism 7 so that when the package requires vacuum packing, it makes it possible to ventilate the chambers in order to remove the air, cutting taking place at predetermined intervals or continuously if the packet to be formed so requires.
