Abstract

A torque transmitting arrangement has at least two coaxially disposed flywheel masses (3, 4) which are limitedly rotatable relative to each other against the action of a damping means (13). The flywheel mass (3) can be connected to an internal combustion engine shaft (5) and the other can be connected by way of a friction clutch to the input member (10) of a transmission. The flywheel masses (4, 3) are limitedly axially displaceable relative to each other in dependence on actuation of the friction clutch and can thereby vary the action of the damping means (13).
