CONSISTE EN TRATAR LAS SUPERFICIES METALICAS DE LA PLACA UNA VEZ PULIDAS, CON UNA SOLUCION DILUIDA DE ESTEARATO SODICO Y SECARLAS A CONTINUACION, QUEDANDO SOBRE SU SUPERFICIE UNA LIGERA CAPA DE LA SOLUCION, SIENDO COLOCADA LA PLACA SEGUIDAMENTE, A TRAVES DE SUS DOS EXTREMOS, ENTRE LOS EXTREMOS DEL SECUNDARIO DE UN TRANSFORMADOR CON SUS BORNES EN FORMA DE REGLETA LONGITUDINAL, SOMETIENDOLA AL PASO DE UNA CORRIENTE DE 25 AMP POR M/M DE SECCION EN UN TIEMPO DE 30 SEGUNDOS, ALCANZANDO UNA TEMPERATURA DE ENTRE 550 Y 650JC, ADAPTANDO ENTONCES UNA COLORACION AZULADA AL QUEMARSE LA PELICULA DE ESTEARATO SODICO, SIENDO ESTA COLORACION ALTAMENTE ABSORBENTE DE LAS RADIACIONES CALORIFICAS SOLARES.
