Abstract
The rotary fluid handling mechanism consists of a rotor (18) internally recessed from one end to receive a cylinder (17). The rotor is provided internally with cavities (21) which open into its interior cylindrical surface (18a) which interfaces with the cylinder surface. The cylinder has blades (23) independently rotatably mounted, the blade ends pass into and through the corresponding cavities in the rotor. The blades are rotated in synchronisation and synchronised with rotation of the rotor.
