PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UN POLIMERO UTIL COMO ESTABILIZANTE FRENTE A LA LUZ ULTRAVIOLETA EL CUAL ABSORBE LA RADIACION ULTRAVIOLETA Y DISIPA EFICAZMENTE LA ENERGIA RESULTANTE EN FORMA DE CALOR SIENDO LA ESTRUCTURA DEL CITADO POLIMERO LA INDICADA EN LA FORMULA GENERAL (I). CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN RADICAL POLIMERO CON MONOBENZOATO DE RESORCINOL O CON UN DERIVADO MONOMERICO QUE CONTIENE MONOBENZOATO DE RESORCINOL. A CONTINUACION SI ES NECESARIO SE POLIMERIZA EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO. EL CITADO RADICAL POLIMERICO COMPRENDE UNO O MAS MONOMEROS ACRILICOS QUE INCLUYEN METACRILATO DE GLICIDILO.
