Abstract

The spoiler according to the invention serves to deflect the air stream which strikes the rear wheel of a motor vehicle during travel. The spoiler comprises a body with an essentially semi-elliptical cross-section whose half-axes have dimensions which decrease gradually and which is provided with fitting means which permit attachment to the body of the vehicle in a position in which the spoiler is located in front of the wheel.
