Abstract
A U-section profile backed onto the wall or ceiling can, although not indispensable, serve to attach square or rectangular section tubes. On the inner faces of these tubes are attached in the same manner U-sections, in which are inserted the ends of panels or windows panes. In the latter case, neoprene joints are placed between the aluminium section and the glass to compensate for the difference in thickness and serve as cushions to avoid breakage of the glass in case of excessive pressure.
