Abstract
To support a bushing (11), a sleeve (12) is used which comprises a flange (12b) and an extension (12c). When the flange (12b) of the sleeve abuts against one wall (5c), the extension (12a) is crimped against the other wall (8d) to immobilize the sleeve longitudinally. A spacer (13) is positioned between the two partitions (5c, 8a) around the sleeve (12). Once the latter is fastened, the bushing (11) may then be placed in position. The invention is more particularly applicable to the front bearing of an electric starter.
