Abstract
The collector comprises an aluminium container toppled with borosilicate glass sheets and incorporating fourteen electrolytically-polished aluminium concentrator mirror and copper centralised heating pipe assemblies. To increase efficiency, the pipe axes coincide with the focal axes of the mirrors, and the vacuum is generated by a set of rings and a shock absorber. - The mirror concentration factor is 2.72, and the open-circuit collector has hot and cold water couplings
