BATERIA DE ACUMULADOR ELECTRICO RECARGABLE UTILIZANDO UNA REACCION ELECTROQUIMICA ENTRE UN METAL ALCALINO O ALCALINOTERREO Y AZUFRE. INCLUYE UNA ENVOLTURA QUE RODEA UNA CAMARA CENTRAL, UN TABIQUE (16) QUE DIVIDE LA CAMARA EN DOS COMPARTIMENTOS, UN SUBCONJUNTO DE ANODO (12) Y UN SUBCONJUNTO DE CATODO (14). EL COMPARTIMENTO QUE CONTIENE EL CATODO CONTIENE UN FLUIDO DE CATOLITO QUE INCLUYE AZUFRE O POLISULFUROS METALICOS ASI COMO AMONIACO ANHIDRO. EN EL COMPARTIMENTO DEL ANODO HAY UN ANODO LIQUIDO QUE RESULTA DEL CONTACTO DEL AMONIACO ANHIDRO CON UN METAL ALCALINO O ALCALINOTERREO, SIENDO POSIBLE ESTE CONTACTO YA QUE EL TABIQUE ES DE UN TIPO TAL QUE PERMITE EL PESO A TRAVES DEL ACUMULADOR. SE PREVEE LA IGUALACION DE LAS PRESIONES EN LOS DOS COMPARTIMENTOS. EL ANODO ESTA CONECTADO ELECTRICAMENTE CON LA PARTE EXTERNA DE LA ENVOLTURA, ASI COMO EL COMPARTIMENTO DEL CATODO QUE IGUALMENTE ESTA CONECTADO A LA PARTE EXTERIOR DE LA ENVOLTURA.
