Abstract

In a pipe-line for conveying solids, there are provided, at intervals, devices by means of which a pressure medium is fed into the line through bores made therein, in order to maintain the material flow in the line. These devices comprise a housing formed of two half-shells, which encloses a cylindrical pressure chamber. To prevent solids escaping from the line, said line is surrounded by an elastic solids filter which is pressed against the pipe by projections on the housing which penetrate the pressure chamber.
