Abstract

Device for a television receiver in which the energy required to generate the current crossing the vertical deflector (9) is drawn from the line return pulses with the aid of a filtering means (4, 8) in series with a controlled breaker (5, 6, 7) which, in each line, is conductive for a time which depends on the index of this line, the vertical deflector (9) being in series with a linking capacitor (10) whose average voltage across its terminals is maintained substantially constant with the aid of a static regulating loop (30). The voltage across the terminals of the linking capacitor (10) is introduced into the static loop via a sample-and-hold circuit (34, 40) which, in each vertical scan return period, stores a signal representing a voltage and maintains the latter practically constant for the vertical scan period, and which is preceded by a correcting network (41, 41a) making it possible to increase the open-loop gain of the static loop.
