Abstract

The machine discharges ship's holds, hoppers and stockpiles, particularly those containing material which does not flow easily. It incorporates a vertical bucket elevator, whose bucket sidewalls are enclosed by an elastic cover travelling with them. The bottom station (3) of the elevator (2) is attached to an enclosing scoop trough (4), into which intake conveyors (5) discharge, these being mounted symmetrically on opposite sides of it. The elevator itself can incorporate a belt.
