PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PREPARAR UNA COMPOSICION IGNIFUGA RETICULADA A BASE DE UN COPOLIMERO DE ALQUILENO-ACRILATO DE ALQUILO. SE HACEN INTERACCIONAR SINERGISTICAMENTE UN COPOLIMERO DE ALQUILENO-ACRILATO DE ALQUILO CON 1 A 30 POR 100 EN PESO DE UN ADITIVO HALOGENADO IGNIFUGO, 0,5 A 50 POR 100 EN PESO DE UN OXIDO, CARBONATO, HIDROXIDO O SULFATO DE MAGNESIO O CALCIO, RECUBIERTO CON UN ORGANOTITANATO, UN ORGANOSILANO O UNA SAL METALICA DE UN ACIDO GRASO; 0,5 A 15 POR 100 EN PESO DE UN OXIDO DE ANTIMONIO, TAL COMO YRIOXIDO DE ANTIMONIO. LA COMPOSICION RESULTANTE SE CALIENTA A TEMPERATURA ELEVADA PARA CURARLA A UN PRODUCTO RETICULADO. SE UTILIZA COMO MATERIAL DE REVESTIMIENTO ALREDEDOR DE CABLES DE CONTROL INDUSTRIALES, ALAMBRES Y CABLES TELEFONICOS Y COMO AISLANTE DE CONDUCTORES ELECTRICOS.
