SE CARACTERIZA POR LA COADMINISTRACION DE INHIBIDORES ESPECIFICOS DE SINTESIS CON SECUESTRADORES DE ACIDOS BILIARES. EN EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE PREPARACION SE CULTIVA EL MICROORGANISMO <<ASPERGILLUS TERREUS>> EN UN CALDO NUTRITIVO QUE ES MEDIO ACUOSO COMO LOS UTILIZADOS PARA LA PRODUCCION DE OTROS PRODUCTOS DE FERMENTACION, LO QUE PERMITE OBTENER EL MSD-803, UN INHIBIDOR DE LA SINTESIS DEL COLESTEROL.
