Nuevo envase cilíndrico mixto de papel y metal, estanco a la humedad, para electrodos de soldadura eléctrica al arco, caracterizado por que su cilindro está formado de tres cuerpos, de los cuales dos de ellos, los que forman la parte exterior del envase, están fabricados con varias vueltas de papel pegadas entre sí con encolantes y con al menos una vuelta en su interior de una película de metal adherida a un papel soporte, estando a su vez dicha película recubierta por una capa de barniz a base de resinas sintéticas, para taponar los poros que pudiera tener dicha lámina metálica, logrando así aislar los electrodos del ambiente exterior y de la humedad y estando los diámetros interiores de estos dos cuerpos y el exterior del tercero citado, calculados de tal manera que este último, que está formado solamente por varias vueltas de papel pegadas entre sí, entra perfectamente ajustado en los anteriores.
