Abstract

Un tapón especial para las baterías de acumuladores eléctricos, utilizadas en aviones, caracterizado por que esencialmente queda formado por dos piezas roscadas y soldadas entre sí, una de ellas tubular y la otra en forma de tapón y su conjunto roscable a la vez a la abertura de la tapa normal de los elementos de la batería, quedando interpuesta una arandela de caucho para mejorar la estanqueidad; cada una de estas dos piezas está provista en su parte interior de un diafragma con dos leves escotaduras laterales situadas en puntos opuestos de su periferia, para facilitar el paso de los gases y también del electrolito, por lo que se refiere al diafragma situado en la parte inferior del conjunto.
