Abstract

Nuevo tipo de freno magnético, que esencialmente se caracteriza por estar constituido por dos imanes permanentes, fijados cada uno de ellos en el interior de una pantalla magnética, cuyos imanes están incorporados por fusión a una pieza de aleación ligera, para que queden sólidamente unidos y con los polos magnéticos opuestos, de forma que el flujo magnético generado por los Imanes permanentes se cierra a través de las pantallas magnéticas en que van fijados y del entrehierro que se forma, actuando el flujo de este entrehierro de freno sobre un elemento metálico que se desliza a través de él.
