Abstract
The apparatus is constituted by pre-heating furnaces 3, an exterior shotting station 5 and an interior shotting station 7, and induction furnace 9, and exterior covering station 10, 11, a cooling apparatus 14, a separation apparatus 16, a cleaning station 19, an interior covering station 20, an inspection and repair station 22, and a delivery table 23. In station 10, 11 an exterior covering is applied to longitudinally aligned pipes so that the covering extends between adjacent pipes. Following cooling at 14, the pipes are separated at 16.
