Abstract

Método para preparar un catalizador de cristalitos de platino soportado sobre carbón para reducir esencialmente la migración de dichos cristalitos sobre la superficie de las partículas de carbón durante el tratamiento o empleo de dicho catalizador caracterizado porque comprende una primera etapa en la que se deposita carbón poroso sobre y entorno de los cristalitos de platino soportados, cuya realización incluye calentar el catalizador en presencia de un compuesto carbonáceo para descomponer dicho compuesto para formar carbón poroso, adoptando dicho compuesto carbonáceo la forma de un gas o vapor y calentando dicho catalizador en presencia de dicho gas o vapor, a una temperatura comprendida en la gama de 260º a 427ºC durante uno a sesenta minutos y especialmente a una temperatura máxima de 371ºC durante unos diez minutos y porque, en una segunda etapa se somete el catalizador, después de la etapa de deposición de carbón, a un tratamiento térmico en una atmósfera inerte o vacío a una gama detemperatura dentro de dicha gama durante un tiempo comprendido entre media hora y seis horas, preferentemente entre 899 y 960ºC manteniendo la temperatura durante un período de tiempo comprendido entre tres cuartos de hora y una hora y media.
