Abstract

Conjunto de dirección asistida por energía mecánica para ser incorporado en un sistema de dirección de vehículos a motor que incluye un pistón (3) que puede deslizarse axialmente en un cilindro de pistón (2) y que forma con él unas cámaras de pistón opuestas (4, 5) estando destinado el desplazamiento de dicho pistón (3) a proporcionar una fuerza de dirección o a contribuir a ella; un componente de entrada (6) acoplado con el pistón (3) para efectuar su desplazamiento axial cuando se aplica una fuerza de entrada de dirección al componente de entrada (3); dos sistemas de fluido que tienen cada uno una entrada de fluido (18, 20), formando parte cada una de dichas cámaras de pistón (4, 5) de cada uno de los sistemas de fluido y estando situadas en ella; un dispositivo de válvula (10, 15, 16) asociado con el componente de entrada (6) y que controla la circulación de fluido a través de los dos sistemas de fluido hasta una salida (29) del conjunto, teniendo dicho dispositivo de válvula una posición neutral en la cual ambos sistemas de fluido comunican con la salida (20), y estando dicho dispositivo de válvula ajustable a partir de su posición neutral cuando se aplica una fuerza de entrada de dirección al componente de entrada (6) y en respuesta a la reacción procedente de la fuerza aplicada para desplazar el pistón (3) siendo dicho reglaje del dispositivo de válvula tal que cierra la comunicación de uno u otro de los sistemas de fluido (15, 16) con la salida (29), siendo el sistema de fluido particular que se cierra donde está situada la cámara de pistón (4, 5) la cual, cuando se somete a la presión del fluido, proporciona auxilio al desplazamiento del pistón (3) en la misma dirección axial que la que está producida por la fuerza de entrada de dirección.
