Abstract

The unit consists of a supporting sleeve clamped on the tube neck, and annular supports rotatable about the tube axis and carrying pairs of annular magnets provided with a gear toothing milled on their sides facing each other. They are coupled through a pinion and can be moved w.r.t. each other. Separating discs are provided between the annular supports secured against rotation by projections entering in the slots in the supporting sleeve. A locking device is provided to prevent accidental movement. The supporting discs (1) have teeth (2) on their periphery. The annular supports for the magnet ring pair carry a holder for the pinion and pawls (7). The latter release the lock when they are pressed down.
