Abstract

Aparato automático de alarma para señalar la proximidad del parto en ganado vacuno, equino y similares, constituido por una envolvente con placa de apoyo situada sobre la parte posterior de la grupa del animal y un elemento de enlace con la cola y los medios para avisar al ganadero. En el interior de la envolvente se situan el mecanismo que transmite el movimiento vertical de la dola, un dispositivo de relojería y un módulo emisor. De esta forma se mide el tiempo durante el cual la cola permanece horizontal que, en el caso del parto, es de mayor duración que en los actos fisiológicos habituales. La alarma se produce cuando el tiempo medido durante el cual la cola se mantiene horizontal alcanza un valor fijado previamente.
