Abstract
Procedimiento de fabricación de vidrios de borosilicatos, caracterizado porque se funde a temperatura superior a los mil grados centígrados una mezcla de primeras materias conteniendo un porcentaje ponderal con relación a la cantidad ponderal total de bióxido de silicio en cantidad de un setenta y uno a un setenta y cinco por ciento; del once y medio al catorce y medio por ciento de óxido de boro; del cinco al siete y medio por ciento de óxido de sodio y de potasio; y del medio al uno y tres décimas por ciento de óxido de aluminio; del dos al cinco por ciento de óxido de calcio y del dos al cinco por ciento de óxido de magnesio obteniéndose una pasta plástica apropiada sin enturbiado ni opalescencia, a partir de la cual se elabora hojas de vidrio plano.
